
In addition, Dennis is the program manager for BCA Digital Transformation. In this role, he is responsible for delivering a digital environment linked by a digital thread through design, test, certification, build and support. This is a critical role and Dennis’ in-depth understanding of BCA production needs and IT expertise will continue to advance the digital landscape in preparation for the next new airplane.
Previously Dennis was the director of Business Operations for the 737 Program, responsible for integrated business planning, program commitments, management information system, and program planning and control functions. Dennis also served as Interiors capability leader for Boeing Fabrication and the director for the Interiors Responsibility Center (IRC), responsible for the design and production of IRC commercial products for all commercial airplanes.
Prior to that assignment, Dennis held several positions in Business Operations, including director of the New Mid-market Airplane (NMA) program office, leading the Business Operations function as well as the Customization and Delivery team; and director of Business Operations for BCA Airplane Development, where he led program management functions on planning, commitments, and compliance across the organization.
Dennis has also held past roles in Engineering, including leading the 777X Interiors Integrated Product Team where he was responsible for engineering integration, safety, and development of the airplane’s cabin. He also worked as the chief engineer for 737 Interiors, a senior manager for galleys and lavatories on the 787 and held various management roles on the P-8 program.
Dennis earned a law degree and a Master of Business Administration from the Seattle University. He joined Boeing in 1996 after graduating from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering.
