President (’09); has been serving Seattle chapter since 2001; Chair, Modern Engineering Technology Seminars (METS, ’12); President, Chair or Advisor, Boeing Asian American Professional Association (’03-’11); Lead Avionics System Engineer, The Boeing Company (’82-’96); Architect, Quality Management Systems, The Boeing Company (’96-’11)

Shiang-Yu Lee, Ph.D

Dr. Shiang-yu Lee recently retired from the Boeing Company as an Information Architect. He was involved in the development of architecture for managing information assets and computing system consolidation efforts. He demonstrated a system for metadata and master data managements. Prior to that assignment, he also worked at Boeing in areas of Information Standards Development, Structural Engineering, Product Development, Factory Management Systems and International Relations. He was the primary designer for the acclaimed ATA 2100 CSDD (Common Support Data Dictionary) database logical schema. Shiang-yu Lee graduated in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University and has his Master and Ph. D. Degrees both accredited from University of Delaware in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Xiuling (Hannah) Su, Ph.D Xiuling (Hannah) Su works at Boeing as Value Engineering / Mechanical Standards Focal of BR&T (Boeing Research & Technology) Supplier Management support. She started this role since March 2013. Before that she worked as BR&T Pudget Sound Mechanical Parts Technology Manager, 787 Major Projects Multi-skill Engineering Manager, BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplane) Supplier Program Manager of MHI Japan, BMA (Boeing Military Airplane) P-8A Senior Structure Engineer of Structure Integrity and Full Scale Testing etc. She worked as Principal Product Engineer of TRW,Senior Engineering Analyst of Citation and Senior Design Engineer of Ford Motor company before she joined Boeing in 2006.

President (’11); Board Director (‘10-’13) Chief Technology Officer of Taiwan Genome Sciences; cofounder of PhenoGenomics; former senior scientist at Celltech Inc., with over 40 original research papers and patent filings.

Robert Wang, Ph.D.

Board Director (‘10-’13) Senior Software Design Engineer at Microsoft Corporation; former principal engineer, Boeing Corporation; former chief engineer, HomeMeeting.

XiaoXi Wang, Ph. D. Dr. Wang is a research engineer in Boeing Company.  He received Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Washington and M.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. Prior to joining Boeing, Dr. Wang was a Senior Scientist in MicroGREEN Polymers. Dr. Wang has produced over 20 publications for major journals and international conferences, numerous research reports, 1 granted US patent, 4 US patent applications, and 7 US patent invention disclosures. Dr. Wang has been active in Chinese Institute of Engineers. Most recently he led the efforts to organize the Science Fun part in CIE’s annual MathComp and SciFun event.


Yong Zhou, Ph. D.

Yong Zhou, born in Shanghai, China in 1969. Graduated from Beijing University in 1990 and got his Ph.D. degree in Second Military Medical University (Shanghai) in 1999.  He’s a research scientist at the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle. Major research field includes developing novel techniques to facilitate biomedical researches.  Married and have a daughter.  He likes hiking, driving, badminton, and photography.
